Our Philosophy

At Edge Body Boot Camp, we encourage a lifestyle of healthy nutrition and movement to help you achieve your fitness goal.

Our proven fitness method combines the four crucial fitness factors needed to maximize results (cardio, resistance, core, and flexibility). Because we embrace a healthy lifestyle philosophy, our camps are not run in 4 or 6 week session, but rather on a rolling monthly basis under the theory that camps become part of your daily/weekly routine for life (or at a minimum that you do it long enough that exercise becomes a habit that you will continue on your own).

We intend to cultivate a family feel to our camps where our campers feel welcomed and encouraged and where workouts are intense and challenging, while being fun and interesting. One component of this is that we accommodate and encourage a diverse group of campers – of all fitness levels, genders, ages (as young as 14 with parental consent), and backgrounds.

You may be wondering how we can accommodate both a beginner and a professional athlete in the same camp. There are two characteristics of our boot camps that enable this accommodation:

  1. Most workouts are done in timed intervals, so you challenge yourself with your own individual pace
  2. Exercises can be modified to be less resistant or more challenging (e.g. Push-Ups on Knees vs. Classic Push-Ups on Toes vs. Declined Push-Ups)

    Nutrition is 70% or more of any fitness program. However, DIET, is a four letter word here at Edge Body Boot Camp. We do not believe in forcing or recommending strict diets that focus on eliminating carbs, fat, or severely limiting your caloric intake. Our training formula requires your body to burn between 500-1000 calories during our camps. Moreover, by adding new lean muscle, your body will continue to burn calories even while you are not working out. Therefore, we encourage well-balanced nutritional meals and snacks in an easy-to-understand nutritional program.

By incorporating all this together in one perfect workout, it will allow you to get that new lean, sexy body you have always dreamed of in half the time it would take using traditional fitness programs.

NUTRITION

SUCCESS THROUGH BEING MOTIVATIONALLY CHALLENGED

Edge Body Boot Camp is not a military style fitness camp, there are no drill sergeants screaming or yelling in your ear. Our philosophy is to challenge your body for maximum results in a positive and supportive environment, so that make camps feel more like a fun get-together than a dreaded workout.
